Room 214 Launches RSS Marketing and Social Media Podcast

Boulder, Colo., April 4, 2007 – Room 214, a search marketing and social media agency, launched its Capture the Conversation podcast, http://www.CapturetheConversation.com with RSS technology and podcasting guru Kris Smith as its host.

The “Capture The Conversation” (CTC) podcast provides an extremely insightful yet light-hearted discussion to help audiences understand and survive the uber-nerd world of RSS marketing, online public relations and social media.

The CTC podcast was created to help translate the uber-nerdy search marketing/social media agency world. The combination of stories, humor and humility with featured expert guests provides an insightful forum for discussing  the obvious, peculiar and topical trends affecting RSS marketing, podcasting, SEO and individuals living in fear of Google algorithm changes (you know who you are).

In the podcast, host Kris Smith, VP of New Media for Room 214, interviews Room 214 team members and other leading influencers in the RSS, search marketing and social media industry.

“Looking at our own agency, we realized that it takes an eclectic mix of crazy, driven, entrepreneurial, social yet introspective individuals to survive the daily rush of using search marketing and syndicated media to grow businesses. Sharing some of our own conversations could prove helpful to a lot of people, some of whom might even get a good laugh (or cry),” says James Clark, co-founder of Room 214. “

“There is a lot of self-proclaimed expertise and newly-found hype in this industry - so the opportunity to be transparent and authentic by offering personal insight through candid conversations via the podcast is really important to us,” states Jason Cormier, co-founding partner of Room 214. “There are always people behind a company. Personally, I want to know the people in front of a company.”
