We are a boutique firm (currently about 20 full time) with a digital marketing background that spans over 15 years. That means it’s important for you to be proficient and comfortable with the direction, copy and execution that’s relevant to digital environments (digital campaigns, ads, websites, social, etc).

Job Description:

We are interested in candidates with a background in (5+ years minimum) in the following core areas/skills: 

  • Development and execution of paid media strategy across all channels with a range of client spends (programmatic, social, paid search)
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns collaboratively with internal team and clients
  • Manage campaign budgets, billing, pacing and troubleshooting issues 
  • Client-facing Project and Account Management
  • Passion for developing and clearly communicating (oral and written) paid media strategies to our clients (not optimizing in isolation)
  • Experience managing junior team members and encouraging training

Room 214 team members must wear many hats (serving b2b and b2c clients). The core areas above must be established before we consider your candidacy, but the following are commonly valued secondary strengths

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Email Marketing
  • Copywriting
  • Familiarity with Website Management
  • Marketing Automation (Hubspot is ideal, but other platforms are great too)

The role will include working with others to collaboratively manage Room 214 clients’ customer insights, strategies and digital marketing retainers and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coherence - Supports the studio’s Coherence Method by deeply understanding our client’s customers, defining core audiences, and discovering growth audiences relevant to paid advertising strategies. 
  • Process Development & Stewardship - helping our team continue to develop processes that continually make our work better and more efficient - allowing us to scale. You will help collaborate with a few teams to make sure everyone knows how things should flow. 
  • Strategy & Campaign Execution: Work directly with clients to develop goal-oriented strategies and campaigns which include paid advertising/media, search engine optimization, conversion/landing page optimization, email marketing and marketing automation.
  • Vendor Management - This role is responsible for the high-level relationship with our ongoing media vendors - and helping the team as needed on the execution of the buys. This role is responsible for identifying opportunity gaps in the studio’s paid media offering as well as keeping up to date with new technologies as they emerge. This role is also responsible for oversight with external partners like Centro and ensuring all media buys align with client industries and internal goals. 
  • Account Direction - Provides direction on any accounts where services are paid-focused. As applicable, this position is responsible for providing direction to all team members on the account, ensuring project management within Asana is adhered to, and often serving as the client’s main point of contact for the studio. Effectively manage and grow accounts, develop systems/processes to increase efficiency. Create valuable relationships with clients, team members and your extended professional network.
  • Team Resources - Manages internal and external Digital Marketing Specialists, including training and task administration. This role is responsible for monitoring team capacity/requirements. 

 

Skill Set: 

  • Paid Search, display and paid social and optimization 
  • Programmatic media planning, buying and analysis 
  • Data analysis, reporting, and data-led decision making
  • Ability to clearly articulate strategic rationale and recommendations in a way that communicates business value to clients
  • Functional understanding of all digital channels including website, social media, SEO, email, and content marketing
