Ecommerce Data Analyst
The E-commerce Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to e-commerce marketing operations. This role requires an individual with a strong analytical background and a deep understanding of e-commerce business models. The E-commerce Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive business growth and optimize the customer experience.

- Strong analytical skills:
- As an E-commerce analyst, you'll need to be able to analyze data and draw meaningful insights from it. You should be comfortable working with large data sets, analyzing data using statistical methods, and using tools like Excel, SQL, or Python.
- Understanding of digital marketing:
- E-commerce analysts should have a good understanding of digital marketing and how it impacts e-commerce sales. This includes knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms:
- E-commerce analysts should be familiar with popular e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools:
- E-commerce analysts should be comfortable using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Mixpanel to track user behavior, conversion rates, and other metrics.
- Knowledge of A/B testing:
- E-commerce analysts should be familiar with A/B testing methodologies and be able to design and execute tests to improve website performance.
- Experience with data visualization:
- E-commerce analysts should be able to present data and insights in a clear and compelling way using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills:
- E-commerce analysts should be able to clearly communicate complex data and insights to stakeholders across the organization, including marketing, product, and executive teams.

- Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to provide insights on e-commerce operations, including sales trends, customer behavior, and website performance.

- Identify areas for optimization and improvement based on data analysis, such as website navigation, checkout flow, and product recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and engineering, to provide insights and recommendations for improving e-commerce operations.
- Conduct A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of new initiatives and provide recommendations for future improvements.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, or a related field
- Experience in direct-to-consumer e-commerce: Prior experience working in e-commerce, digital marketing, or web analytics is highly desirable for an E-commerce analyst role.
