Email Marketing Support
SUMMARY
Time Commitment: 40 hours per week
Desired Availability: 1 pm - 9 pm EAT
REQUIRED
- Knowledge
- Understanding complex marketing automations & user journeys
- Excellent grasp of best practices for email marketing and design (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, Email Deliverability)
- Skills
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Good knowledge in HTML and CSS.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Javascript, AMPscript & SSJS)
- Editing tools such as Photoshop for image resizing
- Email & Marketing Automation platforms including experience with Klayvio, MailChimp, Shopify
- Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience working for a direct to consumer brand
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and run automated, lifecycle, and ad hoc email campaigns
- Implement and own practices like calendaring, segmentation, A/B testing, and email marketing automation
- Tracking essential metrics (e.g. open rates, unsubscribes, customer acquisition costs, sales conversion rate, pages visited, bounce rates) and improving processes.
- Improving the onboarding, engagement, and retention of our customer’s client base.
- Testing, measuring, and optimizing the impact of email marketing campaigns.
- Collaborating with others to ensure email is supporting Customer Acquisition, Purchase Frequency, and Average Order Value tactics.
- Can set up and run: welcome emails, transactional messages, abandon cart emails, lead nurturing, newsletters, drip campaigns, survey/reviews
- Build HTML emails and reusable templates.
- Ensuring emails follow industry standards and best practices.
