Shopify Developer

SUMMARY

We are seeking candidates with 2-4 years background in Shopify development.

A Shopify developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform. This role involves working with the Shopify API and other related technologies to build custom solutions that meet the needs of clients.

Time Commitment: 20-40 hours per week

Desired Availability: 1pm - 8pm EAT

REQUIRED

  • Knowledge
    • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Shopify APIs and app development
  • Skills
    • Experience with Shopify Liquid templating language
    • Knowledge of Shopify APIs and app development
    • Understanding of SEO best practices
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
    • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
    • Ability to write clean, modular, and scalable code.
  • Experience
    • 2-3 years Shopify experience

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing custom Shopify themes and templates
  • Developing and maintaining Shopify apps and plugins
  • Integrating third-party services and APIs into Shopify stores
  • Customizing the Shopify checkout process
  • Implementing SEO best practices on Shopify stores
  • Troubleshooting and debugging Shopify stores
  • Collaborating with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Shopify development
